Natural Homemade Pink Eye Remedy

Below is the easiest and fastest home remedy to cure pink eye in humans and animals.

Take a black tea bag (with no additives) and put it in 1/4 cup of very hot water. Let steep until the tea is strong. Apply the tea bag to your eye and hold there for about 2 minutes. Use some of the remaining tea as eye drops (only a few drops). Repeat twice a day and results should quickly follow.

*Note: The remedy works better when you put the tea bag on your eye at the hottest temperature you can stand without burning yourself.

Natural Household Cleaners Part One

Here is the start of a list of natural household cleaners that are cheaper and easier to use than traditional chemical cleaners.  These alternatives won’t burn your skin or leave you sneezing after cleaning house.

White Vinegar

10% strength is better, but the standard vinegar will work fine too.  Use to clean showers, toilets, sinks, mirrors, windows, floors, counter tops, microwaves, refrigerators, as a disinfectant, or on any surface other than wood.

Baking Soda

Walmart usually sells bulk bags in the pool cleaning section.  Much like white vinegar, it can be used on most surfaces to clean and disinfect.

Homemade All Natural Toothpaste

The typical store bough toothpaste contains numerous harmful chemicals and unpronounceable ingredients.  Including saccharin (unnatural sweetener), sodium lauryl sulfate (a foaming agent used in soaps), and artificial flavor to cover up the terrible taste that the chemicals create.  Below is a recipe for natural homemade toothpaste that is easy to make and more effective than any store bought toothpastes.

6 tablespoons coconut oil , 6 tablespoons baking soda, cinnamon or other natural ingredient for flavor, and 1/4 teaspoon of stevia (more if you like it sweeter).

Mix all ingredients in a small bowl and pour into a container.  Use like regular toothpaste.
